Many Chinese like to visit it.

We note the words about Dalai Lama by Cacey, it is really sorry! So what is peace? I don't know. Take a look at what he is demanding below.

My comment is that what he didn't get in battlefield 30 years ago, he wouldn't get on the negotiation table with the Chinese government because majority of Chinese people wouldn't agree to that.

For further information, here is the link: http://www.dalailama.com/page.121.htm

1. Transformation of the whole of Tibet into a zone of peace;
2. Abandonment of China’s population transfer policy which threatens the very existence of the Tibetans as a people;
3. Respect for the Tibetan people’s fundamental human rights and democratic freedoms;
4. Restoration and protection of Tibet’s natural environment and the abandonment of China’s use of Tibet for the production of nuclear weapons and dumping of nuclear waste;
5. Commencement of earnest negotiations on the future status of Tibet and of relations between the Tibetan and Chinese peoples.FrancisTrashTalkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05089762582724923022noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1157219430600831697.post-58488348915458790862008-04-03T07:39:00.000+08:002008-04-03T07:39:00.000+08:00Hi, I am writing a paper incorporating China's vie...Hi, I am writing a paper incorporating China's view on blocking blogs and newsites. Some people would deem this as a clash of Eastern and Western value but I would look at it from another perspective. It could be a conspiracy to bring down an authoritarian eastern government which has the capability and might to really threatened its Western based democracy values. The West is at all lost when all the Chinese people are united. This has nothing to do with Chinese nationalism - it has more to do with responsibility for one's action (committing a criminal act). But the West conveniently choose to look at it squarely as a human rights issue. Just wait another 20 years - we'll see who is right then.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17672981936126756399noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1157219430600831697.post-86940367959378401032008-04-02T18:53:00.000+08:002008-04-02T18:53:00.000+08:00I am very disappointed about US government's posit...I am very disappointed about US government's position to the recent riots in Tibet and surrounding areas in China which have claimed many lifes and property loss. With so many revealed evidences, they politicians are still claiming that Dalai Lama and his supporters just want to have dialogues witht the government. Do they have basic human conscience? How can these liers and shameless people lead a country like USA? In China, we have a saying: no one should speak like a blind man when he opens his eyes. We have another saying: no one should call a deer a horse.

To me, some very irresponsible political leaders in USA are just those people calling a deer a horse and lying with eyes open.truth finderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00239279232121169343noreply@blogger.com
